CASE: stainless steel, tonneau-shaped, bidirectional revolving blue bezel graduated for 24 hours, screw back, screw down crown, 40 mm. diam.
SIGNED: case, dial and movement signed
BRACELET/CLASP: stainless steel Rolex Jubilee bracelet, Hecho en Mexico deployant clasp, approx. 185 mm.

The present lot represents a rare and attractive variation of the iconic GMT-Master model, characterized by the attractive blue bezel – instead of the usual “pepsi”. It is thought to be a variation originally designed for military timepieces, possibly because of the increased overall readability.
