DIAL: silvered satiné, applied baton numerals, luminous accents, luminous black hands, sweep centre seconds, magnified window for date
CASE: stainless steel, tonneau-shaped, engine-turned ribbed bezel, screw back, screw down crown, 35.5 mm. diam.
SIGNED: case, dial, movement, inside case back stamped III.61
BRACELET/CLASP: stainless steel Rolex Jubilee bracelet and deployant clasp stamped 2/70, overall length of bracelet approx. 185 mm.
ACCOMPANIED BY: original Chronometrie Beyer Zürich guarantee dated 16th January 1964, chronometer certificate, Beyer original sales receipt, Beyer service receipt dated 20th September 1975, Rolex box.

This attractive steel Datejust reference 1603 is preserved in excellent condition and furthermore has the original guarantee and service history. The baton indexes at 6 and 9 o’clock are of unusual wide wedge-shape, the black hands, another distinctive feature of this watch were provided by Chronometrie Beyer Zürich at the request of the owner in September 1975.
