Of single-sided yellow silk painted in polychrome and gilt with devices including regimental emblems including an elephant, a crown and the battle honour 'LESWARREE', in glazed frame

Lot Essay

Charles William Stewart was appointed Colonel of the 25th Light Dragoons on 20 November 1813. Originally raised in 1795 as the 29th light Dragoons and renumbered to the 25th in 1804, the regiment was disbanded in 1819.
