The wrathful deity is seated on a flayed skin atop her mule on a mountainous base. She carries a skull cup and wears a garland of severed heads.

Acquired by the vendor's father in the UK prior to 1970, then by descent.

A comparable bronze model sold at Christie's New York, 21 March 2012, lot 804.
Phalden Lamo, known in Sanskrit as Shri Devi, is the wrathful female protector of Tantric Buddhism.
