A GILT BRONZE ALTAR PRICKET CANDLESTICK
YONGLE PERIOD (1402-1424)
The oval stand is decorated with a pair of birds to either side of an incised lotus pond decoration. The aperture is modelled as an open lotus flower on a leafy stalk with further openwork lotus buds.
