FIRST HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY
The basin is decorated with a central roundel of birds and insects beside flowering peonies and rocks, the cavetto similarly decorated with four shaped panels interspersed with auspicious objects. The rim is embellished with a dense design of butterflies, birds, flowers and foliage.
