A WHITE AND RUSSET JADE BRUSH WASHER, XI
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The washer is carved in the form of a stylised lotus, resting upon waves, with a bat and clouds to one side and a chilong to the other side. The stone is of a milky white tone with some minor russet inclusions.
