A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE AND IRON-RED DECORATED 'BAT AND SHOU CHARACTER' DISHES
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
Each dish is decorated to the interior with a central stylised shou roundel, encircled by five iron-red bats with ruyi-shaped chimes, all surrounded by an underglaze blue keyfret border to the rim. The exteriors are decorated with four iron-red bamboo sprays.
