A SMALL WHITE, RUSSET AND GREY JADE 'BUFFALO AND QILIN' CARVING
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The three-colour group is carved and pierced in the form of a recumbent buffalo carved from the white area of the stone, beside a qilin highlighted in grey tones, clasping a russet lingzhi sprig in its mouth.
