AN INCISED IRON-RED-DECORATED 'GOLDFISH AND BATS' DISH
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE-BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The dish is decorated to the exterior with a band of finely-painted goldfish on an incised ground of stylised waves. The interior is decorated with five bats in flight.
7 ¼ in. (18.4 cm.) diam.
