Tasting note: Very high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon: 88% (Merlot 10.2%, no Cabernet Franc or Petit Verdot in the Grand Vin). Opaque, intense; low-keyed but harmonious nose; medium sweetness and body (12.9% alcohol), good Cabernet-dominated flavour and flesh. Seemed to become sweeter in the glass, excellent length and finish. At the chateau, April 2006 (*****) 2020 – 2040. MB
