Corroded capsules, three damaged. Bin-soiled slightly stained labels. Levels: five base of neck, four very top-shoulder and one just below top-shoulder
Tasting note: A serious wine. Aged 10 unready, showing well though still impressively deep. Substantial, almost Latour-like. Still fairly deep; fragrant; good length, quite tannic notes in 2003. Most recently showing maturity; good nose; a wine with extra dimensions. Not my idea of a lovely ’85 but decidedly good. Last tasted Jan 2005 ***(**). MB
