The phase 1 case with stamped number '96' to the front sill, the 6 in. latched dial signed to the lower edge 'Thomas Tompion Londini Fecit', the eight-day latched movement with reconverted verge escapement, the backplate with 'Strike/No Strike' knob, Z-shaped steel bar system and tulip engraving, further signed and numbered
