FIRST SEPARATE EDITION of Cardinal d’Ailly’s treatise in which he shows that there is no necessary conflict between astrology and theology. It was first published in 1480 as part of Ailly’s famous Imago mundi. The woodcut on the verso of the title-page depicts a theologian and an astronomer in conversation.
