PROVENANCE:
Bought from the artist at his studio in Shanghai between 1962-64 by the Dutch diplomat posted to China, and thence by descent.
NOTE :
This Dutch collection includes a further three works by Ma Jin to be auctioned in “A Meticulous Pursuit – gongbi through the ages” (Lots 1330-1332).
