NOTE:
Mr. He from Sanshui mentioned in the inscription denotes He Guanwu, a noted collector in Guangdong. He made his fortune in the Republican period to 1930s selling silk. In 1923, He joined Paintings Research Society and befriended many artists in Guangzhou. In the late 1930s, due to the collapse of his business, his collection was sold and dispersed.
