TWO DING MOULDED SQUARE DISHES
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (960-1127)
One dish is moulded to the interior with a pair of butterflies, the cavetto with lappets below foliage, the other dish with scrolling foliage on the interior, the cavetto with stylised florettes. Both are covered with a pale ivory-toned glaze with the exception of the bases.
