Lot Essay

Patek Philippe produced the reference 5107 from 2000 until 2006. The model was produced in yellow, white and pink gold as well as the nearly impossible to find platinum version with black dial, applied batons, and pearled minute markers. When discontinued in 2006, this watch had a retail price of $32,600. The reference 5127 replaced this model.

Furthermore, this rare and fresh to market 5107P is delivered with the now discontinued platinum Henri Stern style folding clasp. Made for less than a year, these elegant buckles are unusual to find in platinum since many were complimentarily ‘upgraded’ during services with the latest Calatrava-logo folding clasps.
