RICHEBOURG
Like many of the other vineyards in Vosne-Romanée, Richebourg originally belonged to the monastery of Citeaux. Today it is shared by a small handful of the region's best proprietors, with the largest holding belonging to the renowned Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The vines of Richebourg average 45 years in age, with many dating back to the original replanting after the World War II. Each of the various factors which influence a wine's character and flavor unite flawlessly in the wines of Richebourg, which are celebrated as sumptuous, opulent, and marvelously enduring.
