A very interesting manuscript which sets forth 90 rules for foresters, woodcutters and woodsellers of the time.
314 x 185mm. 132 leaves, written in brown ink on rectos and versos (stained and browned, some leaves frayed and defective). Modern vellum. Provenance: Lord Poltimore, Court House, North Molton, North Devon (sold Sotheby & Co., 16 April 1947, lot 936).
