painted and gilt with panels of the 'Valentine Pattern' alternating with retreats in river landscapes on grounds of scattered floral clusters, the interior with scattered flowersprays to the centre within a gilt shell and scrolling foliate band to the rim -- 11½in. (29.2cms) diam; and a Chinese rose Imari bowl painted to the interior and exterior with peonies and chrysanthemums issuing from rockwork -- 10¾in. (27.2cms) diam, both 18th century. (2)
