with moulded foliate handles, painted and gilt in the Chinese style in sepia and famille rose enamels with panels of peonies, magnolia and blossoming prunus issuing from rockwork and mountainous river landscapes on underglaze blue grounds of scattered prunus blossom -- 12¾in. (32.5cms) high, signed Dai Nipon Kanzan-sei.
