A BRONZE OPENWORK BELT BUCKLE HALF

The belt buckle half is cast in openwork with two vertical rows of recumbent animals with backward-turned heads and long tails, and the joined body of two similar animals form the curved bar from which projects the raptor-head hook opposite a small loop at the other edge.
