Square base with canted corners, facetted stems and spool-shaped sockets, the bases engraved with cypher within motto of the Order of the Thistle below earl's coronet and with coat-of-arms, marked on foot

The arms are those of Duff, the cypher is probably for James Duff, 4th Earl of Fife.
