Tasting note: Purple-ruby colour is now moving to dark, reddish-brown at the rim. Nose still youthful and rather closed (tasted September 2016), showing roasted fruits. Richly textured on the palate, with impressive fruit concentration, broad tannins, smoky aftertaste, approaching maturity, however this will benefit from 3+ years further ageing. A.H.
