A group of twenty assorted promotional posters, invitations, and brochures including a WAKE UP CELEBRATION evening at U.C. Berkeley; Timothy Leary hosting a CELEBRATION OF THE COMET in San Francisco with Jimi Hendrix films; Dr. Leary speaking on American culture; an announcement, on the occasion of his release regarding books written in prison; an OUTRAGEOUS evening with Timothy Leary and Kinky Friedman; and an original invitation to the 1970 HOLDING TOGETHER in Greenwich Village (designed as a subponea.) Hosted by many supporters including John and Yoko Lennon, Wavy Gravy, Allen Ginsberg, Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin, the evening tried to raise $100,000 to help release Dr. Leary from prison in California. Together with Timothy Leary's instructions for the correct way to take 'SHROOMS. (...treat with respect and they will be good to you)--15 x 21 in. and smaller. (21)
