Ema Vieira Pereira, 'M' Vinho Velho
Original capsules. Bin-soiled and damaged labels. Levels: six base of neck, one top-shoulder, one mid/upper-shoulder
Tasting note:Two part moulded bottle. Clear orange with yellow rim. Sweet honeyed nose with aromas of dried oranges, high toned fresh and seductively perfumed. Some cask aging tones. Concentrated old style Madeira with a deep nose. Soft almost creamy sweet start of taste, mellow, mouth filling and medium-sweet. Touch of citrus and old oak on the finish. Very good intensity, on the final soft acidity making for a good balance. Nice tone of blackberries in the after-taste. A canteiro aged Madeira with seductive rounded sweet taste and good length. Very good wine. Last tasted December 2016. EV.
