TIMOTHY LEARY
An ornate Egyptian made Hookah water pipe. The yellow/white metal and copper Hookah is designed with images of Pharaohs and pyramids, constructed in two separate sections. The top piece is made with four circular tiers, the larger circular plate supporting a brown ceramic pipe bowl. The lower section contains the water vessel (thus cooling the smoke), and features three fittings for the accompanying yellow and red flexible hoses, each designed with wooden inserts and mouthpieces. Several months before his death, Timothy Leary was photographed with this hookah for Time Magazine. Together with a red and black postcard, HOOKAHS NOT BAZOOKAS--4 ft. 6 in. high.
