THE ROLLING STONES

Details
THE ROLLING STONES
A custom made snooker table, used by The Rolling Stones on their 1994 Voodoo Lounge Tour. Atlantic Billiards (who also provided the band with a pool table for their 1989 Steel Wheels tour, which Mick and Company had duplicated for Keith Richard's birthday gift), designed the red and black table for the musicians to use during during their stay in Atlanta, Georgia. The Rolling Stones liked it so much that they continued South with it on their tour. To create the custom table, the company imported 1,400 pounds of slate playing surface from Italy, worsted wool cloth from Belgium, gum-rubber rail cushions from England, and maple cue sticks from Canada. Each leg of the table is designed with the Stones' logo, below the dancing form taken from the Voodoo Lounge theme--overall length, 12 ft. x 7 in.; playing surface, 12 ft.; overall width, 6 ft. x 8 in.
