JIMI HENDRIX
A favorite black and white leather motorcycle jacket belonging to Jimi Hendrix. The waist length COOPER styled jacket is designed with three front zipper pockets, one small snap pocket; the two white leather epaulets feature a matching pair of lucky charm "rabbits feet", suspended from yellow metal ball chains. The elbow length sleeves flare wide with side zippers, on the right cuff a Jackie Robinson tac pin, commemorating the baseball player's 1962 entry into The Hall Of Fame; the lower rear of the jacket embellished with nine white metal studs. The jacket shows extensive wear, especially at the elbow bend, the right sleeve with a seam tear in the back. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Mike Quashie.
