Each shaped circular, with gadrooned rim, engraved with a coat-of-arms below an earl's coronet above, each marked underneath
9 ½ in. (24. cm.) diameter
405 oz. 8 dwt. (12,609 gr.)
The arms are the Royal arms of Scotland quartering those of Moray and Stewart impaling those of Gray for Francis Stuart, 9th Earl of Moray (1737-1810) and his wife Jean (d.1786), daughter of John Gray, 11th Lord Gray (1716–1782) whom he married in 1763.
