on a spot-hammered spreading circular foot and with a conforming tapering moulded circular bowl, the short stem decorated with three lion's masks, a narrow rope-twist frieze above, Ramsden & Carr, London 1909, the foot engraved: "I was wrought for Matthew Stirling A.D. MCMIX", the underside of the foot engraved: "Omar Ramsden Et Alwyn Carr me fct." - 4½in. (11.50cm.), 4oz.
