of slender baluster form, on a plain spreading foot and with a moulded rim, scroll handle and domed hinged cover with foliate thumb piece, the body engraved with a broad frieze of flowers and foliage, narrower foliate, Greek Key, geometric and trelliswork friezes above and beneath, the front with an oval cartouche engraved with a crest and motto within garter cartouche, E.& J.
