Two silver-mounted pottery jars,
the first a Victorian example for preserves with a swing handle and flat cover engraved with a monogram and with ball finial, the cylindrical body decorated with foliage, flower heads and beading and glazed in shades of brown, green, blue and white, probably Royal Doulton but impressed with a date 1882 only, the silver mounts John Greaves & Son, Birmingham 1882 - 6in. (15.25cm.) overall, the latter example for tobacco, the brown-glazed body decorated with a cavalier smoking a clay pipe, the mount London 1920 - 5¼in. (13.25cm.); and a plated preserve spoon. (3)
