A SMALL LONGQUAN CELADON ‘TWIN FISH’ WASHER
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The washer is decorated with two sprig-moulded fish to the centre of the interior, the exterior wall moulded with lotus petals, covered overall with a broadly crackled glaze of pale bluish-green tone with the exception of the foot exposing the fine, pale grey body.
