QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
The irregularly-shaped mountain boulder is finely carved to one side depicting a scholar and his attendant travelling through an idyllic mountainous landscape, amidst rocks and pine trees, and bats hovering above. The stone has a slight celadon tinge with some russet inclusions.
5 1/4 in. (13.5 cm.) long, wood stand
