A CELADON JADE 'LOTUS' WASHER
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
The washer is carved in the shape of a large open-form lotus leaf borne on a leafy stalk tied on one end with further stalks variously terminating in a flower, a smaller leaf and a pod. The stone is of a pale celadon with concentrated areas of russet.
