A CARVED CINNABAR LACQUER SCROLL-SHAPED INK STAND
MID-MING DYNASTY
The flat top is carved with a panel depicting a figure in a fishing boat turning his head to face another figure collecting herbs on the embankment. The two curved sides are decorated with florette-diaper grounds. The underside is applied with brown lacquer.
