A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF AVALOKITESVARA
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The three-headed Avalokitesvara is modelled seated in dhyanasana, her eight arms carrying different attributes; accompanied by
a lacquered arhat standing on a separate lotus throne with a detachable mandorla; a zitan kila carved with three heads above
an elephant-head; and a metal kila cast with three heads above the three-sided blades.
