A GROUP OF THREE BAMBOO AND WOOD CARVINGS
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The group consists of four carvings including a bamboo chess implement carved to all sides to depict the story of Zhao Yan jie shou; a zitan tree trunk-form wrist rest, a zitan miniature kang table and a bamboo root figure carved in the form of a caparisoned elephant mounted by boys.
