This Arabic pharmacopeia gives the names of the drugs on the right hand page, with Arabic, Persian, Syriac, Latin and Greek synonyms, along with the properties, benefits, side-effects, antidotes and directions for the amounts to be used. On the left hand page are the selections of the opinions of various physicians (including Galen, Hippocrates, Masih and Yuanna ibn Masawayh). It ends with another index of just Arabic names.
