CAST FROM A MODEL BY ALFRED DRURY (1856-1944), CIRCA 1910

Drury cast a few variants of heads of children modelled on Gracie Doncaster, the younger daughter of a close friend. One version including her shoulders and torso received wide acclaim when exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1897 under the title `The Age of Innocence'
