(First 4 leaves remargined, occasional open and repaired tears, some browning.) Contemporary goatskin (rubbed at extremities). Provenance: ‘Ad Usum Fr: Peregrinis Antonij di Orlandis Ord[o] Carm’ (inscription to frontispiece).
RARE FIRST EDITION of this handsomely illustrated work on mysticism and man’s relationship to the occult. cf. Caillet 9948 (listing only the first Latin edition, 1695).
