A FINE IRISH 60-BORE SIX-SHOT PERCUSSION PEPPERBOX REVOLVER & AN IRISH PERCUSSION BLUNDERBUSS
THE FIRST W. & J. RIGBY, DUBLIN, SERIAL NO. 10485 FOR 1853; THE SECOND TRULOCK & SON, DUBLIN, CIRCA 1840
The first with fluted hand-detachable barrel-block retaining faded traces of original case-hardened finish, blued action and trigger-guard, sliding thumb-piece safety-catch, scroll engraved throughout, well figured chequered walnut grips, and much original blued finish; the second with two-stage iron barrel struck with an Irish registration mark for Dublin, back-action lock, and walnut three-quarter stock (some cracks)
The first 3 5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) barrel-block; the second 13 ¾ in. (35 cm.) barrel
