MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The Goddess of Mercy is shown seated in dhyanasana on a raised throne. Her hands are folded in dhyanamudra and she is wearing long robes and multiple beaded necklaces. Her crown is inset with a small figure of Amitabha Buddha.
