A PALE CELADON JADE 'DRAGON' PLAQUE MOUNTED AS A TABLE SCREEN
THE JADE MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The plaque is carved and pierced with a writhing dragon amongst scrolling foliage, the stone is of a even celadon tone. It is inset into a later wood frame and mounted as a table screen.
