A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL 'LOTUS' BOWL
16TH CENTURY
The bowl is modelled with slightly flared sides and is raised on a short circular foot. The sides are enamelled with six lotus heads amongst trailing stylised lotus branches, above a band of upright leaves at the base, all between gilt borders.
4 ¾ in. (12.3 cm.) diam.
