A PAIR OF GEORGE III GILTWOOD ARMCHAIRS AND SOFA
BY B. HARMER, CIRCA 1785, POSSIBLY WORKING FOR GILLOWS
En suite with lot 74, the armchairs each with oval padded back, armrests and seat covered in red silk, the toprail centred by a floral spray, the seat rails with papier-mache guilloche bands on fluted tapering legs with leather castors, the sofa with an arched toprail and outscrolled arms, stamped 'B. HARMER'

The settee: 36 ½ in. (93 cm.) high; 94 in. (239 cm.) wide; 43 ½ in. (88 cm.) deep
