A JADE DRAGON-FORM PENDANT
HAN DYNASTY (206 BC-220 AD)
The jade is well-carved in the form of a dragon with an upward-turned head at one end of the arched s-shaped body, and a coiled tail at the other end that terminates as a bifurcated tail. Each side of the body and tail are decorated with comma spirals with a suspension
hole drilled from both sides. The stone is now a yellowish-white colour with some russet inclusions.
