Each folding fan measures 19 x 42 cm. (7 ½ x 16 ½ in.)
Landscape entitled, inscribed and signed, with one seal of the artist
Dated sixth month, renshen year (1932)
Swallows and Apricot Blossom inscribed and signed by Cai Xian, with one seal
Dated fifth month, guiyou year (1933)
Mount Huang inscribed and signed, with one seal of the artist
Dated summer, jiaxu year (1934)
Flowers inscribed and signed by Chen Mo, with one seal
Dated autumn, jiaxu year (1934)
Both fans dedicated to Zifen

NOTE:
The recipient of these fans Zifen is Yao Feng, a native of Jiaxing in Zhejiang province who was an active member of art circles during the Republic period. He became friends with many well-known artists andwas the nephew of Wang Jiqian.
